An Oldie but A Goodie!

This card was done by using the Pick A Petal stamp set.
Not only can you make flowers with the petals but also cute bugs!
The colors used were Basic Black, Rose Red, and Mellow Moss

Hello! I have some of the latest news on the 2009 Stamping Retreat. It will be on Saturday, December 5th at the Seven Clans Casino and Waterpark Conference Room in TRF. The title of the event this year is.....The 12 Projects of Christmas!!!

Circle Circus Stamp Set

Circle Card

I love the colors in this card. Crushed Curry, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Old Olive give this card a different look. I love the Circle Circus stamp set!! (if you hadn't noticed!!)

Purse Card

I thought this card was just plain cute!!!!!!!

Supplies: Bermuda Bay card stock, pretty in pink Card stock, Circle Circus stamp set, Oval punches, large circle punch, brads, Mambo Ink pad, Chocolate Chip Card stock, White Card stock, Scallop square punch (Word window punch would also work), Ribbon and Scallop edge punch

I stamped an image 3 times with Circle Circus and then punched them out using the large circle punch. I cut off a side of the circle to give it the purse shape. I punched the Scallop Square shape out of choc chip card stock and then cut the corners at angles to get the purse fastener. I put brads on for buttons and the handles were made by punching the oval shape punch and then moving my punch further up and punching again to punch out the purse straps.

To finish I tied with ribbon and then punched the scallop edge on the Bermuda Card stock.

Back to School Card

In the spirit of back to school I thought this was a fun card to make!! Get out your punches!!!

Supplies: Window Punch, Tab Punch, notebook spiral punch, boho blossom punch Black card stock, crushed curry card stock, real red card stock, white card stock, pretty in pink card stock, whisper white ink, black ink

The trick to make this apple was to tab punch red card stock and then punch it again moving your punch up to get the nice "apple" red strips at the top and bottom of your "core".

The same type of thing was done for the pencil. I used the window punch to punch out part of the "eraser" from the pink card stock. For the apple seeds I just punched the flower punch out of black card stock and trimmed off petals for seeds.
